  • Properly insured
  • Developing (see News )
  • Supportive of new initiatives including
    1. The Development, with Face Us (a department of Basingstoke Voluntary Services), of advocacy for deaf people living in Hampshire
    2. Higher Ground (a group of people who, having experienced mental ill-health, wish to support others who are struggling)
    3. Camrose Resource Centre. This new venture, managed by Trinity, aims to prevent homelessness, social isolation, and the descent into despair.
Please Contact BAS for latest details about these three, new, initiatives.
  • Funded by Hampshire Primary Care Trust and Hampshire County Council
  • Constitutionally, and managerially, independent of its funders. BAS thanks personnel of Hants PCT and Hants County Council for their continued support and understanding of the ethos of BAS, and its clients, in times of perpetual change.

BAS remains, first and foremost:

  • Committed to promoting the wishes and needs of those people who are, still too often, hidden, forgotten, or ignored. BAS seeks the input of all those who might wish to further its constitutional goals.
